about

first time I saw Dark Crystal (I believe it was in 1984), I was completely fascinated. I was a child at the time and I immersed myself over and over in that world, to travel with fantasy along with the characters and creatures of the film. Over the years my journeys between worlds and dimensions took me several times to Thra. Now, over 30 years later, I had the chance to celebrate it with a song and I wanted to do it by celebrating Deet's journey to the surface.
I hope you will enjoy this magical world as I did.

Arcana Liturgia is one of the first Dungeon Synth projects born in Italy, with 3 works released in the second half of the 90s:
-MCCXXXI (1997)
-Ars Moriendi (1998)
-The return of the mighty king (1999).
The band is inspired by fantasy themes, nordic mitology and medieval history, combining sounds typical of dungeon synth music with more medieval ones, creating an atmospheric and dreamy mix. The use of drums and percussion often recalls the idea of large armies marching towards legendary battles.
After 20 years of silence AL is back.
