Darksol is a neo-baroque exploration of one's personal descent into madness and villainy. The story of Darksol begins humbly and well-intentioned, but against dark forces one is often forced to become the darkness itself. Kingdoms are corrupted, chaos is resurrected, but first comes high adventure! All instruments played by L.R. Carlson in the barren hell of the Canadian plains.

Iscandar began as a couple of different compositions that turned into one. I recieved a challenge to use only whole notes, but found it impossible to make something I was happy with. A melody that I had recorded a few years ago slid into the fold, with a bit of mental effort. Then I got to work scribbling things together and soon had a looping pattern I liked. I used some VSTs and a Yamaha MX49. The sample at the beginning is from Space Battleship Yamato/Star Blazers.
