about

"Living Without Sight".
The song itself was written while I watched and re-watched the intro scenes for the movie "The Dark Crystal". If you start playing it around the where it says 'A Jim Henson Film'
It should sync up with the story up until the emperor dies, play it on mute though.

With Heretic I have also released a self-titled EP, an Album called 'Eglise en Feu' (heretic666.bandcamp.com) and made a music video for the track "Lost Amongst the Wake" (www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnzzkednW5s).

I have plans for new music in the future as I'm mostly focused on forming a new band which we are in very early stages, and I have plans for more Heretic stuff too but I'm not ready to share them yet.

from The Song of Thra, released March 25, 2020
I grew up in a little town called Ngatea, the town was so small you kinda had to create your own fun so I started writing music when I was around 14 - 15.

I started playing guitar and formed a thrash metal band, called Dominion Road, in high school with a few mates.
We were mostly inspired by the band Slayer in those days, and we ended up playing a few parties in the our area.
Just about everyone left the band because they either moved away or there were disagreements over what the band should be.
The only two people left we're Sven Van Amelsfort on drums and me on guitar and the two of us ended up writing
and recording an album in his garage.
