Woodland Cosmonaut, Dungeon Synth artist from Yorkshire in The United Kingdom.

I'm relatively new to creating Dungeon Synth, I have released one demo (Cycle, 2019) and I am honored to be part of the UK DS collective, Gibdus, a group of amazing musicians in the genre.

I was challenged (by fellow Gibdus member and excellent DS artist, Båvingr!) with making a track using themes from the British sci-fi comedy series, Red Dwarf.

All of the music for 'Cadmium II' was written and played on the OP-1 synth, recording directly onto it's internal 4-track 'tape'. Extra backing texture and the small spoken word section were run through the Monotron Delay, which added nice retro futuristic vibe to the tones. I tried to work with music from the show without directly copying or sampling it, hopefully that comes across well in the finished piece.
